The rapid urbanization of Gurugram has resulted in about 120-odd johads (ponds) either shrinking or vanishing. In collaboration with the Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) and the Future Institute, we are working on the rejuvenation of these ponds to improve biodiversity by attracting birds and encouraging establishment of native vegetation, plants and trees.
